Perth, Darwin, Tasmania and Sandown practice formats amended
Fans can see action on morning and afternoon in Tasmania, Perth
New Darwin Triple Crown format, three Friday sessions for Sandown
Supercars will amend practice formats for four of its upcoming 2024 events: Perth, Darwin, Tasmania and the Sandown 500.
In the case of Tasmania and Perth, the changes have been made to ensure fans get to see Supercars on track in both morning and afternoon sessions at the event, rather than just afternoon sessions as was previously planned.
Darwin’s changes have been made to ensure the winner of the Darwin Triple Crown has to be at the top of the time sheets on all three days of the event to claim the coveted Triple Crown title.
The Sandown 500 changes have been made to ensure Friday’s on-track action gives teams one additional opportunity on track for either the Championship or co-driver ahead of the first endurance race of the year.
Tickets for all 2024 Repco Supercars Championship events are available through Supercars.com and Ticketek. Corporate Hospitality is available through Supercars.com.
Supercars.com has broken down the changes, with Perth the first of four events to debut the new formats. Click here to view all event formats.
