The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship featured some thrilling battles and incredible finishes.
Of 30 completed races, 13 were officially settled by a margin of 1.9s or less.
Four races were decided by less than a second.
Top spot goes to Will Brown, whose maiden race win was recorded by an official margin of 0.280s over Jamie Whincup.
Erebus Motorsport rookie Brown won Race 28 at the BP Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint following an intra-team squabble between Whincup and Shane van Gisbergen.
Waters and van Gisbergen were joined in Townsville
Freshly crowned 2021 champion van Gisbergen was involved in seven of the top 10 closest margins in 2021; four times he was the winner, three times runner-up.
The Kiwi was also responsible on the three biggest winning margins of the season; 17.0s (Sydney, Race 23), 14.8 (Sandown, Race 5) and 12.7s (Sandown, Race 4).
Not counting the red-flagged Race 25 in Sydney, last weekend's Repco Bathurst 1000 featured the 16th closest win margin of 2021.
Chaz Mostert crossed the line 3.7s ahead of Cameron Waters.
