The Bend Motorsport Park will become the latest circuit to host a championship Supercars endurance race, following the release of the 2025 calendar.

Announced late last year, the Tailem Bend venue will stage a 500km race for the first time in 2025.

The Bend Motorsport Park hosted its first Supercars round in 2018, and featured on Supercars calendars every year until 2023 as sprint rounds.

The circuit was set to the opening round of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup in 2020, but plans were changed due to COVID-19-forced changes to the schedule.

Come September 2025, and the South Australian circuit will become just the sixth track to host a Supercars enduro, and the third to host a pre-Bathurst 500km race.

Mount Panorama's famous Bathurst 1000 became a championship round in 1999, and was preceded by Ipswich's Queensland Raceway 500km event. Ipswich hosted a 500km race between 1999 and 2002, before it returned to its spiritual home at Sandown.

Sandown, which celebrated 60 years of enduros and has been secured on the 2025 calendar as a sprint round, hosted the 500km race between 2003 and 2007 before it shifted to Phillip Island from 2008.

Phillip Island staged a 500km race until 2011, before it again returned to Sandown, where it remained until 2019 before COVID changes led to Bathurst being the sole enduro between 2020 and 2022.

All the while, the world famous Surfers Paradie street circuit staged two-driver races between 2010 and 2019, first under the 'International' driver roles between 2010 and 2012, before it was a crucial third stop in the hunt for the PIRTEK Enduro Cup.

Sandown again returned in 2023, with The Bend now locked in as the newest lead-up race before the jewel in the crown event, the Repco Bathurst 1000.

The Bend Supercars events are supported by the Government of South Australia through the South Australian Tourism Commission.

The 2025 race formats, television schedule and support category details will be announced in coming days leading into this year’s Great Race, the Repco Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama from 10-13 October.

Tickets are still available through Supercars.com for the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000. A waiting list for fans wanting to secure tickets to 2025 Repco Supercars Championship events can be found by clicking here.
