There is a three-way tie in the fight for the regular PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge crown, with Triple Eight, Walkinshaw Andretti United and Blanchard Racing Team powering into contention.

Brad Jones Racing, the five-time defending champions, have been joined on 73 points by Triple Eight and BRT after the Panasonic Air Conditioning Sydney SuperNight.

The Preliminary Races segment will conclude at the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint, where first place will be awarded $5500, second $3500, and third $2000.

The top four teams after Tasmania will compete in a live eliminator final, where the PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge Golden Rattle Gun and a cash prize will be up for grabs.

With nine points covering the top six teams, and with BJR squads equal first and seventh, there's now a genuine threat to the Albury squad's hopes of extending its unbeaten run to six titles.

WAU delivered the fastest stop in Saturday's Sydney race for Ryan Wood, and was second on Sunday, also with Wood's car. BRT managed the third quickest times for both races, both on rookie Aaron Love's car.

Red Bull Ampol Racing took home the Sunday maximum on Broc Feeney's car, with Erebus Motorsport clocking the second best time on Saturday on Brodie Kostecki's car.

BJR's crew on the Macauley Jones and Jaxon Evans now shares top spot with Triple Eight and BRT, with WAU six points behind in fourth.

Penrite Racing is just one point behind WAU in fifth, with Matt Stone Racing nine points from the leading trio in sixth.

The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship will resume at the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint on August 16-18. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

Live coverage can be found on Foxtel, with live streaming available on Kayo. Highlights will be shown on the Seven Network and 7plus. International viewers can follow all the action on Superview.
