Tickets now on sale for 2025 Sydney 500

Supercars fans can now secure their tickets for the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship opener, the Sydney 500.

Racing will run at Sydney Motorsport Park from February 21-23. Action will begin earlier in the week with the Sydney SuperTest on Wednesday, February 19, one of only two all-in test days for 2025, offering fans the chance to see all teams and drivers in action as they prepare for the season ahead. The test day will be open to fans and will set the stage for an incredible few days of motorsport.

On Thursday February 20, Sydney International Speedway will light up as a curtain-raiser, featuring a round of the spectacular Sprintcars series. This separate ticketed event will give fans a high-octane lead-in to the main event, showcasing more thrilling motorsport action.

The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship gets underway on Friday, February 21, with the first twilight race of the year that will follow a single 30-minute practice session and qualifying. It will be the first of four Friday races in 2025.

For the first time, all three days of the Sydney 500 will feature racing, ensuring fans are treated to non-stop track action. Saturday and Sunday will include qualifying sessions, the Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout, and 200km sprint races to launch the season in dramatic style.

The Dunlop Super2 Series will also be part of the support card, offering fans a glimpse of the next generation of racing stars.

Supercars CEO Shane Howard hinted at even more thrilling additions to the event.

“We’re excited to start the 2025 season in Sydney, one of our premier circuits,” Howard said.

“There are more exciting announcements to come, including live music performances at the circuit on the Saturday evening of the event, which will add even more atmosphere to an already huge weekend.”
