The 20th anniversary this year of the team now known as Tickford Racing is being celebrated with news of the publication of an official, licensed book featuring the histories of all of the team’s Ford Falcon and Mustang race cars.
Pre-orders are open online now here for the book, which is due for release in December of this year.
V8 Sleuth is producing the 400-page, limited edition hardcover collector’s book that follows other hit books featuring the car histories of the Holden Racing Team, Dick Johnson Racing, Perkins Engineering and the soon-to-be-released publication featuring Triple Eight Race Engineering’s cars.
This book captures the histories of all of the team’s Falcon and Mustang Supercars, from its first foray into V8 Supercars racing in 2003 under the banner of Ford Performance Racing and right through its Prodrive Racing Australia era into today’s Tickford Racing.
Long-time team partner RYCO has been confirmed as the presenting partner of the 20th anniversary celebration publication.
"We’re really looking forward to the release of this publication and we’re thrilled to welcome RYCO on board," says V8 Sleuth MD and the book’s publisher/co-author, Aaron Noonan.
"RYCO have a long history with the team, and they’ve had a long involvement with Australian motorsport, including as the Official Filtration Partner of Supercars and the new Gen3 race cars.
"There’s plenty of history in the cars of FPR, PRA and Tickford and we’re working closely with the team to put them all together into one book that is a must-have for fans of the team as well as Ford fans and those that enjoy our V8 Sleuth car history books."
This hardcover collector’s book will be produced in a limited edition with each copy individually numbered, making it a special collectable item.
It will include the team’s Bathurst 1000 and championship-winning Pepsi Max Falcons as well as the Ford Falcons and Mustangs raced by stars of the sport for the team including 2015 Supercars champion Mark Winterbottom, Craig Lowndes, Glenn Seton, Jason Bright, Cam Waters, Will Davison, Steve Richards, Chaz Mostert and so many more.
The 2023 season will resume at next week's betr Darwin Triple Crown.
