Triple Eight Race Engineering has revealed the unique livery Craig Lowndes and Declan Fraser will carry in Bathurst.

Lowndes and Fraser will combine in a #888 Supercheap Auto-backed wildcard Commodore.

This weekend’s Repco Bathurst 1000 will be the 29th start for Lowndes, with Fraser a rookie.

Super2 points leader Fraser will also complete double duties.

The #888 livery features the faces of thousands of race fans who submitted via a competition.

The colour scheme also features a ‘heartbeat’ in reference to the fans and their passion behind the sport.

There are also mountains on the rear-quarter panels of the car, which pays tribute to the Mount Panorama landscape.

The livery was revealed in front of hundreds of fans in Bathurst on Tuesday.

The two drivers also completed a signing session.

Lowndes will run his famous #888 for what will be a Supercars-first 300th round start.

The seven-time Bathurst winner made his championship debut in 1996.

Lowndes, who is aiming for a record-extending 15 Bathurst podiums, is keen to get the weekend underway.

"I’m really excited to share our livery with everyone,” Lowndes said.

"It’s the biggest race of the year and to be able to share it with our fans and literally take them on the ride around The Mountain with Declan and I is something truly memorable.

"Both Declan and I are really excited to hit the track on Thursday.

"We’ve had three successful test days leading up into this week, and Declan has shown some great speed and composure throughout.

"We have every intention of being right in the mix and giving the fans something to cheer about.”

Cars will hit the track at Mount Panorama for Practice 1 on Thursday.

Tickets for the Repco Bathurst 1000 are available on Supercars.com and Ticketek.
