Arise Racing GT has confirmed the official entry of their pair of Ferrari 296 GT3 cars in 2025 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, returning the brand to Australia’s longest race for the first time since 2020.
The West Australian-based team will enter one car in each of the Pro and Pro-Am classes in the January 31-February 2 event, marking both the team’s 12 Hour debut and the debut of the latest and greatest Ferrari GT3 contender in the race.
Arise Racing GT launched into the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia scene in style this year, Liam Talbot and Chaz Mostert claiming the Pro-Am title while the sister car driven by Elliot Schutte and Jaxon Evans finished third.
The team claimed three race victories and six pole positions in what was an incredible debut season - their first in the championship - with the impressive team performance and pace shown at Mount Panorama in particular a highlight ahead of their 12 Hour debut.
ARGT will confirm their driving combinations and other key components of their maiden Bathurst 12 Hour campaign in due course.

“The car performed brilliantly at the final GTWCA round which is credit to Ferrari and Oreca for producing such a great package in the 296, and we cannot wait to push it to its limits in one of the most demanding endurance events in the world.
“We’re in the final stages of securing some fantastic driver lineups and are thrilled for the opportunity to compete among the best GT3 Teams from both Australia and across the globe. The Ferrari 296 GT3 will be the fourth generation of Ferrari’s GT3 contenders to tackle Australia’s International Enduro, a race where Ferrari has claimed a pair of memorable victories.
Having featured on the grid in the first GT race in 2011, Ferrari’s first win came in 2014 via Maranello Motorsport’s Ferrari 458 GT3 and drivers, Craig Lowndes, John Bowe, Mika Salo and Peter Edwards.
A second outright win came three years later, in 2017, as Lowndes was joined by Jamie Whincup and Toni Vilander in a 488 GT3.
The last Ferrari to enter the Bathurst 12 hour was in 2020, with none having competed in the 2022, 23 and 24 editions of the race.
Based in Perth, Lance East Exotics launched the Arise Racing GT project in 2024, building on a rich legacy of success from fellow Perth-based team Arise Racing, renowned for their achievements in Sports Prototype Racing in the West and the Radical Cup Australia Series nationally.
