Round four of the Repco Supercars Pro Eseries gets underway tonight and it will be a battle of champions from on and off the track.

Reigning BP All-Star Eseries and Bathurst 1000 winner Shane van Gisbergen joins as a wildcard to take on Australia’s best sim racers, including the all-conquering Josh Rogers.

Rogers, who drives the virtual #25 Mobil 1 Appliances Online Walkinshaw Andretti Commodore, claimed last year’s inaugural Pro Eseries.

He holds a 12-point lead over Brad Jones Racing’s Madison Down heading into tonight’s three races to be held at Michigan’s famous oval circuit in the USA and Italy’s Monza circuit.

The wildcard tonight is 2020 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 winner Shane van Gisbergen, who will join from his home in New Zealand.

The Red Bull Ampol Commodore driver makes his debut in the Pro Eseries after claiming the BP All Star Eseries earlier this year, proving he was the best of Supercars’ real-life drivers in the online arena.

Tonight, racing returns to Michigan, where van Gisbergen won two out of three races in the BP All Star Eseries, including the tightest finish of the entire series.

Tonight’s other race will be at Monza where van Gisbergen finished 24th in the BP All-Star Eseries, while Rogers finished 6th in the race held there in the Pro Eseries in 2019, one of his worst results of the championship he eventually won.

Jarrad Filsell won the Monza race in 2019.

Fans can watch tonight’s racing in the Repco Supercars Pro Eseries live from 8:30pm – 10:30pm AEDT on Fox Sports 506 and Kayo.

Each live event can also be viewed online via Supercars Facebook Page, Supercars YouTube  and Supercars Twitch.
