POLL: With five rounds left, who's your tip to win the 2024 title?

With five rounds to go, it's time to start thinking about the championship, whether the leading contenders want to or not.

It has been a rollercoaster ride to this stage, with Will Brown carrying the orange numbers since the Grand Prix. However, Chaz Mostert has wiped 174 points off the deficit in two rounds, and is just 105 points behind Brown heading to Tasmania.

Broc Feeney has more wins than any other driver, but is now 153 points behind his teammate in third. Then, there's Cam Waters and Matt Payne, who are 386 and 423 points behind Brown respectively.

While there are 1510 points still to win, these are the drivers with the most realistic chance of title success in '24. Even then, the greatest comeback to win a championship is 213 points, so if Mostert, Waters and Payne are going to do it, they will need to defy history.

Regardless, the pressure is on Triple Eight, with Mostert, Waters and Payne all heading to victory lane in the last two rounds to keep the championship leaders honest.

Tasmania will be crucial, given the likes of Mostert and Waters were unable to unlock the Super Soft tyre in Darwin. There, Feeney won both races, and given his recent stumbles, the rising star will be hoping for the same. Triple Eight has also knocked over a test day, so there are unknowns everywhere.

So, we're asking you: With five rounds left, who do you think will win the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship?

This poll will close on Sunday August 11, ahead of the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint.
