A former regular in GT Production and two-litre Super Touring racing, Aaron McGill is the ‘marathon man’ of the V8 Supercar Dunlop Series.
Having broke Mark Howard’s record of most round starts in the series, McGill first appeared on the V8 Supercars landscape in 2000 at Bathurst, sharing the second Big Kev Commodore with Owen Kelly. However, the car was an early retirement and McGill missed out on driving.
Since then, he’s been a constant in the Dunlop Series. Having debuted in the category in 2001 with RPM, McGill took some time away before returning in 2004 with Howard Racing but joined Verdnick Racing a year later. But in 2006, McGill formed his own team in ‘McGill Motorsport’ which has continued to support the series since.
