Cody Burcher takes his first step onto the Supercars ladder in the Super3 Series in 2024, racing a MW Motorsport Nissan Altima.
Burcher is the latest young driver to jump from Toyota 86s to Supercars machinery, and is one of two Altima drivers in 2024 alongside Thomas Maxwell.
The Orange-born driver finished third in the 2023 Toyota 86 series, and also finished third in the second-tier TGRA 86 Scholarship Series.
He scored four race wins and two overall round wins last year in the main series, headlined by a win just down the road from his hometown at Mount Panorama.
Burcher began in karts before shifting to Formula Ford in 2018, and shifted to Trans Am with Garry Rogers Motorsport in 2022.
He also got to test a Walkinshaw Andretti United Supercar late last year, paving the way to a Super2 berth in 2024.
