Supercars will run in three more testing sessions
Anton De Pasquale and Cam Waters have completed the first of four Supercars test sessions at Mount Panorama, three weeks before the 2025 season begins.
Team 18 recruit De Pasquale and Tickford Racing star Waters rolled out in their first session at the Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour on Friday morning.
The #20 Team 18 Chevrolet Camaro was complete in a silver, black and orange testing livery, with De Pasquale getting behind the wheel of a Camaro for the first time this year.
Waters, meanwhile, steered teammate Thomas Randle’s #55 Castrol Ford Mustang, with Randle and team staff watching on from pit lane.
The 15-time race winner also completed track time for filming purposes, wearing Randle’s race gear, with the car’s livery unveiled on Friday morning.
Where Waters and Randle are on the ground as competitors at this weekend's 12 Hour, De Pasquale has travelled to Bathurst to specially drive the Camaro.
The two cars completed category testing at The Bend Motorsport Park last December, and are fitted with additional sensors for further data collection.
The cars will run on new-for-2025 specification tyres and on a set-up generated by Supercars.
Both drivers’ 2025 liveries will be revealed in coming days, ahead of the all-in Sydney Motorsport Park test on February 19.
For De Pasquale, it was a chance to get an early look at 2025, having moved from the Shell V-Power Racing Team in the off-season.
“Awesome to do some laps around Bathurst in a Team 18 Camaro,” De Pasquale said after getting out of the car.
“Good to get my hands on it so early in the year, super excited to unveil the livery on February 12.”
Tickets for the Sydney 500 - Opening Round, on February 21-23, are on sale now.
