Campsites can now be purchased for the highly anticipated 60th anniversary of the Repco Bathurst 1000.

Fans are urged to act quickly using this link, as these sites are expected to sell out in record time.

The Bathurst Camping page on Supercars.com contains all information for fans, who can view the campsite maps, access FAQs, and make their bookings.

The availability of campgrounds varies, and fans are advised to check the Bathurst Camping page on Supercars.com for detailed information and maps.

A camp site ticket does not include access to the 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000. Admission tickets to the event must be purchased in addition to campsite tickets.

Tickets, including general admission and grandstand seating can be purchased through Ticketek.com.

To provide attendees with a wide range of options, Supercars has prepared a selection of campgrounds for the 2023 event.

Limited sites are available in six of the eight campgrounds.

Supercars CEO Shane Howard said this year’s event is expected to be one of the biggest in the history of the Great Race with memorable on and off track celebrations to take place across race week.

“Since we told fans we were going to go on sale this morning, we have received hundreds of calls and emails from those keen to attend this year’s 60th anniversary celebrations.

“Now they are on sale we ask fans to be ready to purchase as soon as possible as we do expect the remaining sites to sell out quickly over coming days.”

Three-time Bathurst podium winner Cam Waters camps at Mount Panorama for the Great Race every year and is encouraging fans to be a part of this year’s special celebrations.

“I always camp at Bathurst, I think you kind of have to, everyone goes to Bathurst to camp,” Waters said.

“It’s the biggest event of the year for good reason, it’s the atmosphere.

“I love camping and being right in the middle of that atmosphere, you can smell the smoke from the fires, and you can hear the fans at night … it just makes that weekend a little bit more special.”

The 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000 is the 60th anniversary of the Great Race at Mount Panorama and will be the first ever to feature the Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro taking on the Gen3 Ford Mustang.

There will be celebrations right across race week, including the traditional Driver’s Parade and fans autograph sessions in Bathurst on Wednesday 4th October, through to the Great Race on Sunday 8th October.

Defending Champions Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander will line up as rivals with Tander making the switch to co-drive a Penrite Mustang for the first time in his career, while van Gisbergen will be looking to go back-to-back in his #97 Red Bull Camaro.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
