Confirmed Bathurst pairings: What we know so far

Just 11 pairings have been locked in for October's Repco Bathurst 1000.

There are less than four months to this year's Great Race, which is the only enduro of 2022.

Only four teams have confirmed their full suites of drivers.

That includes Shell V-Power Racing Team, which has retained Alex Davison and Tony D'Alberto.

Penrite Racing has called up Super2 points leader Matt Payne alongside David Reynolds.

Matt Campbell will return, albeit alongside 2022 recruit and Bathurst winner Lee Holdsworth.

Team 18 has Michael Caruso on its books, but he has yet to be assigned to a car.

Caruso, who finished third in Bathurst in 2009, raced with Mark Winterbottom last year.

Tickford Racing has locked away its four co-drivers, but pairings haven't been confirmed.

Same goes for Walkinshaw Andretti United, which has secured the services of Fabian Coulthard.

Coulthard's former team, which now races under the PremiAir Racing banner, has yet to announce its co-drivers.

The same goes for Red Bull Ampol Racing and Matt Stone Racing.

Triple Eight hasn't confirmed its line-up

Garth Tander is expected to continue alongside Shane van Gisbergen, with Jamie Whincup alongside Broc Feeney.

It leaves Craig Lowndes on the outer, although the door is open for Triple Eight to run another wildcard entry.

This year's Great Race allows for up to six wildcards.

Erebus Motorsport has already confirmed it will again field a Boost Mobile-backed wildcard for Greg Murphy and Richie Stanaway.

This year's Repco Bathurst 1000 will be held on October 6-9.
