Team 18 signs Lee Holdsworth, Harri Jones for 2025 Enduro Cup
2021 Bathurst winner Holdsworth raced for Team 18 between 2015-18
Jones completed evaluation with Team 18 last December
Lee Holdsworth and Harri Jones will form a new-look Enduro Cup line-up for Team 18 in 2025, the Chevrolet Camaro team has revealed.
2021 Bathurst winner Holdsworth, who partnered with Chaz Mostert at Walkinshaw Andretti United in 2023 and 2024, will return to Team 18 following a four-year stint as a full-time driver with the team between 2015 and 2018.
Jones, meanwhile, will make his Supercars race debut with the team at The Bend 500, before lining up in his first Repco Bathurst 1000 start in October.
The rising star impressed Team 18 in an evaluation day at The Bend last December, and will also aim for a third Porsche Carrera Cup Australia title with his own team this year.
The team has yet to announce which of its full-time drivers, Anton De Pasquale or David Reynolds, will partner with Holdsworth or Jones.
The news also leaves question marks over the futures of Michael Caruso and Warren Luff, who raced for Team 18 in 2023 and 2024. Caruso has been with the team since 2021, partnering Mark Winterbottom. Luff, meanwhile, had been loaned from WAU.
Holdsworth and Jones will join Team 18 for the pre-season test at Sydney Motorsport Park on Wednesday 19 February.
“It’s great to be returning to Team 18. It’s a little bit like getting the band together in a way after spending three of four years here,” Holdsworth said.
“There’s a few familiar faces around from my time here so it was nice to see everyone again, as well as guys like Dave Reynolds and [Richard] 'Krusty' Hollway who I’ve worked with at other teams in the past.
“My focus is on bringing my experience to the endurance races, especially Bathurst, and helping the team put our best foot forward at the enduros.
“I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and working with the team to achieve some strong results this year.”
Jones said: "I'm thrilled to be joining Team 18 for my debut in the Supercars Championship and the Bathurst 1000.
“After my evaluation day at The Bend last year, I felt right at home with the team and the car, and now having the chance to compete at the highest level of Australian motorsport is truly a dream come true.
“It's a whole new set of challenges, and I can't wait to get started."
Team owner Charlie Schwerkolt added: “We’re extremely pleased to announce Lee and Harri as our co-drivers for the 2025 endurance races.
“It’s great to welcome Lee back to the Team 18 family. He’s a great fit for the team and what he’s gone on to do as a co-driver has been impressive, so we’re excited to lock him in for the enduros.
“Harri is an up-and-coming star. He’s risen strongly through the ranks here and overseas and we were impressed with his recent evaluation at The Bend. We’re extremely proud to reward him with his Supercars debut this year.
“This is a team that’s focused on reaching our potential this year and we’re confident that both Lee and Harri will play an integral role in helping us achieve that.
“We’re looking forward to seeing them in action at the pre-season test and the endurance season.”
