Chris Pither says his appointment to PremiAir Racing is the "biggest opportunity" of his career.

The newest team in the Repco Supercars Championship unveiled its liveries at Cbus Stadium on Monday.

It marked a significant milestone for the budding organisation, just six weeks after it purchased Team Sydney.

The Peter Xibberas-owned team also announced its Gold Coast base and key sponsors for its maiden campaign.

The livery reveal came just two days ahead of the team’s first official test day at Queensland Raceway.

For New Zealand-born veteran Pither, who was announced in the squad’s driver line-up last month, the past six weeks have been a whirlwind.

"I’m super excited to be back," Pither told Supercars.com.

"It’s been a mean feat to put this together in six weeks, and it’s a testament to the guys behind the scenes, they’ve been working long hours.

"It’s a milestone to be here and I’m looking forward to the journey."

Pither has refused to give up on his Supercars dream despite losing his full-time seat twice.

He only completed one full-time season with Super Black Racing in 2016 following to the passing of founder and owner Tony Lentino.

The Kiwi returned to Super2 and duly won the 2018 title, before sealing a deal to race with Team Sydney in 2020.

However, the arrivals of Fabian Coulthard and Garry Jacobson consigned Pither to another exit.

PremiAir Racing offers Pither a new dawn with upgraded Triple Eight machinery and fresh investment from Xiberras.

"To be back full time has been my dream for a long time," Pither continued.

"I’ve only had two seasons previously in non-consecutive years, and 2020 came with its own challenges.

"To be here today ahead of what I think is the biggest opportunity of my career is great and I definitely have high expectations.

"I’m going out there with the goal of winning.

"I’m working hard towards it. It will take time but I’m very enthusiastic and excited by the fact we have really motivated, and results driven people involved.

"Everyone is working towards the same goal; we will take on board what we learn and move forward throughout the year."

Pither joins teammate Jacobson at PremiAir Racing for 2022.

The returning Pither will carry the iconic Coca-Cola red and black colour scheme for the entire season.

Jacobson, who joined Team Sydney in 2021, will race the yellow and green #76 Subway Commodore in Sydney and Tasmania.

PremiAir Racing will make its 2022 Repco Supercars Championship debut at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
