Erebus reveals new Chiko livery in Bathurst
Chiko takes naming rights on Brodie Kostecki car
Kostecki/Hazelwood among favourites for victory
Erebus Motorsport has uncovered its new Chiko-backed Great Race livery for Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood, with the covered taken off the new-look car in Bathurst.
Announced after Sandown, reigning champion Kostecki and Hazelwood will tackle the Mountain with backing from iconic Australian brand Chiko.
Chiko, which is also a partner of Supercars, famously backed the Ryan McLeod/Wayne Wakefield Commodore at the 2000 Bathurst 1000, and returns on the Erebus #1 Camaro.
The new-look car, featuring the black, red and yellow of Chiko, was revealed in the Bathurst pit lane on Wednesday, a day out from the commencement of track action.
It's the third Bathurst livery to be revealed in two days, following Brad Jones Racing's Venom-inspired look and Penrite Racing's revised gold livery.
The Kostecki/Hazelwood car is among the early favourites for the win, having raced in the top three at Sandown before an electrical issue brought their day to an early end.
