Australia’s leading mobile hose and fittings service ENZED has joined forces with emerging V8 Supercar star Cameron Waters.
Waters, 18, currently competes in the highly competitive Dunlop Series – the development series of V8 Supercars – where he is seventh overall after a pair of top 10 round finishes from the first two events.
Waters is the youngest driver in history to start Australia’s greatest motor race, the Bathurst 1000, and in 2011 became the youngest ever winner of the Australian Formula Ford Championship.
ENZED has signed Waters to a multi-year ambassador relationship which will see the rising star become the face of ENZED brand campaigns and the mobile service HOSE DOCTOR® recruiting program. In addition to its personal association with Waters, ENZED has also committed to a major sponsorship of Waters’ Linde Material Handling Holden Commodore for the remainder of this year’s Dunlop Series, with the ENZED logo to appear prominently on the front/rear bars and rear quarters of the Minda Motorsport-prepared machine.
The announcement marks a return to Australia’s premier form of motorsport for ENZED, with a history in V8 Supercars and the Australian Touring Car Championship which dates as far back as 1986 when ENZED sponsored touring car legend Larry Perkins. Waters is proud to be supported by ENZED as he aims to progress to the V8 Supercar Championship in the coming years.
“I’m rapt to be joining the ENZED team," Waters said. "ENZED is the leader in hoses and fittings and it’s an honour to have ENZED supporting me towards my ultimate goal of racing in the V8 Supercar main game in the very near future ... I would love to reward their support and commitment by winning races in this year’s Dunlop Series.”
Chairman of the ENZED Advisory Committee Jeff Maurice said the company was pleased to welcome promising talent Waters to the family.
"We are excited to be able to play a part in the growth and development of anyone pursuing their goals; whether that is to be your own boss and start your own HOSE DOCTOR franchise, or be a successful V8 Supercar driver."
