Full list: Sandown co-driver line-up

Former Bathurst winners and podium finishers headline Friday's co-driver session at Sandown.

The Penrite Oil Sandown SuperSprint will feature the only Additional Driver session of the season.

It will be the only at-event co-driver session prior to the Repco Bathurst 1000.

The Additional Driver session will commence at 3:20pm local time on Friday.

All teams bar Penrite Racing will run their full suite of cars in the 30-minute session.

Overseas-based driver Matt Campbell, who races for Porsche, will be absent for Friday's session.

Campbell, who will race with David Reynolds, will run with the team at a pre-Bathurst test day.

Lowndes will steer a BJR Commodore

The other high-profile change for the session regards Craig Lowndes and Brad Jones Racing.

BJR has yet to confirm a co-driver for the Jack Smith #4 SCT Logistics Commodore.

In the interim, BJR has secured Lowndes for Friday's session.

Lowndes will share a Triple Eight wildcard Commodore with Super2 driver Declan Fraser.

Given wildcards aren't permitted to run in the session, a vacancy opened up for Lowndes.

Racer-turned-broadcaster Lowndes will also host a live cross from in the cabin.

Lowndes is one of three former Bathurst winners, alongside Jamie Whincup and Garth Tander, who will drive on Friday.

Lowndes (seven wins), Whincup (four) and Tander (four) combine for 15 Bathurst wins.

There are an additional seven podium-finishers, led by Warren Luff (six) and James Moffat (two).

Tony D'Alberto, Fabian Coulthard, Jack Perkins, David Russell and Michael Caruso all have one podium to their names.
