  • O'Keeffe to race with 2011 Bathurst winner Nick Percat

The 2024 enduro field is nearing completion, after Matt Stone Racing announced Dylan O’Keeffe will partner star driver Nick Percat at Sandown and Bathurst.

O’Keeffe, who recently tested with MSR, will share the #10 Bendix Chevrolet with Percat at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and Repco Bathurst 1000.

The Porsche Carrera Cup race winner, who is also competing in TCR Australia Series, will make his fifth consecutive Great Race start in October.

The Victorian is the 17th co-driver to be confirmed for the 2024 enduros, leaving vacancies at seven full-time entries, including the sister MSR entry of Cameron Hill.

Erebus Motorsport (Jack Le Brocq), Tickford Racing (Cam Waters and Thomas Randle), PremiAir Nulon Racing (Tim Slade), Brad Jones Racing (Jaxon Evans) and Blanchard Racing Team (Aaron Love) are also yet to complete their enduro line-ups.

He won in TCR at Phillip Island earlier this year, and also scored a pole position and three top five finishes in the Carrera Cup round at Taupō.

O’Keeffe made his Bathurst debut with Kelly Racing alongside Andre Heimgartner in 2020, finishing 11th. He raced with Garry Jacobson and Tekno Autosports in 2021, finishing 14th, before partnering James Golding at PremiAir Racing for the last two years.

The Golding/O’Keeffe pairing reaped Bathurst finishes of 12th and 10th in 2022 and 2023, and 15th at last year’s Sandown 500.

“When the opportunity came to join the Matt Stone Racing squad for the enduros, I jumped at the chance – they’re definitely a team on the rise,” O’Keeffe said.

"They’ve won races the last couple of seasons, and Nick’s been in great form this year. They’re a well-drilled team, very organised and methodical and it’s an enjoyable environment to be part of.

"It was my first time working with Nick, but we were already gelling really well during the test day. He’s obviously very experienced and has a great record at Bathurst. “

As well as his debut win in 2011, he’s finished on the podium a couple more times so I’m really looking forward to tapping into his knowledge base and learning as much as possible from him.”

Percat added: “We’ve locked in Dylan O’Keeffe as our co-driver for this season’s endurance campaign, which is really cool.

"He is the right height so that works for me, he’s doing plenty of racing with TCR and Cup cars as well and he’s a really good fit in the MSR team.

"Pumped to have him onboard the Car #10 crew — he’s always done a really solid job at Bathurst and Sandown so I’m looking forward to seeing how we go.”

O’Keeffe will test with MSR before the Sandown 500 on September 13-15, and the Bathurst 1000 on October 10-13.
