WorldMiddleweight Boxing Champion, Tasmanian, Daniel Geale has backed V8 Supercars,throwing his personal support behind the state’s largest sporting event, the TasmaniaMicrosoft Office 365, April 5-7.
Asone of the country’s best boxers, Geale will be taking his family to the eventnext week, joining fans who have flocked for tickets, as V8 Supercars looks toa third successive massive crowd following the huge numbers at the Clipsal 500and the Rolex Australian Grand Prix.

“Thefirst round in Adelaide had it all, it was amazing racing and then at the GrandPrix in Melbourne the V8 Supercars also proved a massive hit, so I knowTasmanians cannot wait to join in,” said Geale.
TheTasmanian local, who is also an ambassador of the Holden Racing Team, said itwas thrilling to be a part of such a high speed, adrenalin pumping sport.
“Ilove being a part of the V8 Supercars event, it’s a real buzz, seeing thesegreat drivers in action and also the masses that flock to this event every yearcertainly makes me a proud Tasmanian,” he said.
Fanswill experience plenty of off track activities with the Disney Pixar Fun Zonefeaturing Mack the Truck for the first time in Tasmania, which is certain to bea big hit among children.
