Rylan Gray will race a Super3 Falcon FG X in the Super3 class
Gray will turn 17 in race week, making him eligible to race
Tickford Racing will enter three Ford Supercars in the Dunlop Series at the VAILO Adelaide 500, with Rylan Gray to race a Super3 Falcon FG X.
Tickford’s development program, Tickford Autosport, will field three cars at the November 23-26 event in Adelaide.
Gray, who will turn 17 next month, will make his competitive debut in Supercar machinery in the Super3 class.
The teenager recently competed and won races in the Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Series, and also scored a second-place finish in class at the 2023 Bathurst 6 Hour. He was also New Zealand Toyota Gazoo 86 Racing Rookie Champion, and has experience in Aussie Racing Cars.
Gray’s first time racing in Adelaide will come alongside Tickford stablemates Brad Vaughan and Elly Morrow, with the latter to make her final Super2 appearance.
“I’m so excited to get stuck in and learn the streets of Adelaide,” Gray said.
“We have had a program in place throughout the year to help get me as ready as possible for this event and I feel we have learnt a lot and are in a good position heading into the season finale event.
“The car looks incredible — it’s going to be a massive weekend and the Supercar will be all new to me. I’m really looking forward to getting after it and seeing how we go.
"Now that the livery’s out and the car’s ready I just can’t wait to get behind the wheel."
Gray will join Vaughan and Morrow at Winton Motor Raceway for a test day on Tuesday.
Dunlop Series action will commence at the VAILO Adelaide 500 on Thursday November 23.
