Eggleston Motorsport has expanded to a five-car structure for the 2025 Dunlop Super2 Series, with Elliott Cleary joining the team.

The second-tier teams’ title winners have signed Brad Jones Racing driver Cleary, who joins fellow signings Zach Bates, Cody Burcher and Bradi Owen.

The retention of Jordyn Sinni takes Eggleston's 2025 number to five, with Kai Allen and Cooper Murray grayudating to the main game.

Cleary, 18, complemented his Super2 season with a Trans Am campaign. He won the West Australian Formula Ford Championship's Gold Star in 2022, and contested the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship this year.

“Obviously Eggleston have been super successful in their whole tenure in Super2 and they’ve managed to produce heaps and heaps of top drivers who have gone on to achieve great things in the main game,” Cleary said.

“So for me, seeing their history and seeing what they have done, I felt like it was the place I needed to go. This year was a big learning curve but I feel very confident for next year.

“I think I’ve learned what I need to learn and with Eggleston, I feel like I can start to challenge up the front.”

Team manager Rachael Eggleston added: “We are excited to be welcoming Elliott to the family for 2025.

“While he is still very young, he has some really strong racing results in Formula Ford and Trans Am so there is a lot of talent there that we are keen to help develop.

“It is great that he has been able to get a clean rookie year of Super2 under his belt which means he won’t be spending as much time learning the car next year and we can really home in and focus on his driving and getting the most out of him and the car.”

The new Super2 season will kick off at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 21-23. Tickets are on sale now.
