Aaron Cameron has set up a blockbuster final race of the 2024 Dunlop Series by claiming his second pole from the last three races in Boost Mobile Qualifying for Race 12 of the season.

Cameron set a 1:20.0116s to head championship rivals Zach Bates and Kai Allen, with the trio split by one and a half tenths, and Bates only 0.0568s away from sweeping both Boost Mobile Pole Awards.

The championship leader also wrapped up the 2024 Boost Mobile Pole Award for the Dunlop Series on a countback, with three second place starts to Brad Vaughan's two.

Five drivers ended up tied on two pole positions for the season, with Cameron joining Bates, Vaughan, Cooper Murray, and Jack Perkins, with Allen and Jarrod Hughes claiming a single pole each through the season.

With a championship battle forefront in his mind, it was a reserved Cameron post-session, with the 24-year-old also admitting that there was room for improvement.

"I didn't really expect that, I did a pretty bad job in that session," Cameron said.

"We were meant to go fourth [gear] through Turn 1, I was in third.

"Thanks to all the Kelly Racing guys for everything, good to have 500 bucks, but there's no points for pole.

"There is [a lot at stake]. I'm pretty sure I'll only get one shot at a Super2 title, so we'll have a decent crack.

"It's pretty awesome that it's me, Zach and Kai, one-two-three in both qualys. It'll be elbows out, and we'll see who comes out on top."

Best of the rest behind the championship contenders was Jobe Stewart, with Rylan Gray and Stewart's stablemate Hughes fifth and sixth respectively.

The top 10 was rounded out by Vaughan, Jordyn Sinni, Cameron McLeod, and Max Vidau.

The field was reduced to 17 cars for the session, as Tony Auddino's Super3 Falcon suffered engine dramas that kept it out of both sessions today.

Reuben Goodall was also a non-starter for the session and the remainder following his heavy crash in Boost Mobile Qualifying for Race 11 earlier this afternoon.

Bates will start from pole for Race 11 of the Dunlop Series tomorrow afternoon at 11:40am local time/12:10pm AEDT.
