Triple Eight Race Engineering has confirmed its engineering line-up for the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship.
Current series leader Shane van Gisbergen will be engineered by Andrew Edwards, who will move from Brad Jones Racing.
New-for-2022 driving recruit Broc Feeney will be skippered by Martin Short.
The announcement comes after current engineers David Cauchi and Wes McDougall confirmed their exits at season's end.
Cauchi, who has been with the team since 2007, will shift to Kelly Grove Racing at Team Manager in 2022.
The acquisition of Edwards marks a coup for the team, with the race-winning veteran to also fill the role of chief designer.
Edwards joined BJR as a data and design engineer in 2005, and has been Nick Percat's race engineer since 2018.
Edwards helped Percat to two race wins in 2020 at Sydney Motorsport Park, which will host the 2021 season's resumption this weekend.
Short, meanwhile, has been Feeney's engineer this current Dunlop Series season.
Short has overseen Feeney's maiden Super2 campaign for Triple Eight, with the teenager holding a 51-point series lead.
Short has also skippered Triple Eight’s GT programme since 2019.
"We’re really happy to be welcoming Andrew to the team," incoming Managing Director and Team Principal Jamie Whincup said.
Edwards with Percat earlier this season
"He’s a very talented engineer and will bring a heap of experience and new knowledge.
"Shane is looking forward to working with him and building a solid relationship, which is so important between a driver and engineer.
"We have every confidence in Marty. He and Broc have delivered the goods time and again this year.
"He’s adapted so well to everything Triple Eight has thrown at him since he started with us in 2018.
The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will continue at this weekend’s Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight. Tickets for all four upcoming Sydney events are on sale now.
All sessions will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and streamed via Kayo. The Seven Network will broadcast live from 3:30pm AEDT on Saturday and 12:30pm AEDT on Sunday.
