New Tickford Mustang to debut at Albert Park
Cam Waters shook down new Ford at Winton last week

Tickford Racing will roll out its new Ford Mustang for Cam Waters at this weekend's Melbourne round following a "perfect" shakedown.
The Ford star got behind the wheel of the new Mustang, chassis TR-30, in a shakedown at Winton Motor Raceway last week.
Waters told Supercars.com the new car, which "ran perfectly" at Winton, will make its racing debut in Monster Energy colours at the upcoming MSS Security Melbourne SuperSprint.
TR-30 is the sixth new car to debut in 2024, following double new-car efforts by Erebus Motorsport and Triple Eight Race Engineering, and a new chassis for Penrite Racing recruit Richie Stanaway.
Tickford said chassis TR-30 was "designed to deliver a performance upgrade over Waters' previous car, incorporating the latest developments in the Gen3 regulations."
The team added it is "optimistic about the TR-30's potential and anticipates a strong showing from Waters in the coming races."
It comes after Waters raced chassis TR-28 to finishes of 22nd and 16th in Bathurst, with the Race 1 result affected by a broken spindle.
An ex-Tickford Mustang was also put through a systems check by new owners Blanchard Racing Team last weekend, with James Courtney rolling out chassis TR-27 at The Bend Motorsport Park.
Courtney took former Haas Formula 1 team boss Guenther Steiner for hot laps in the Mustang at last weekend's Adelaide Motorsport Festival, with the car donning a new Ford Performance livery.
Supercars will hit the track for the first time at the MSS Security Melbourne SuperSprint on Thursday.
