Grove Racing will once again compete under the Penrite Racing banner, with Bathurst winner Richie Stanaway joining Matt Payne in an all-Kiwi line-up.
The team’s Gen3 Ford Mustang challengers hold special significance to the Braeside squad given they are the first cars built completely by Grove Racing after the Grove Group took full ownership in 2022.
Their driver line-up is a mix of experience and youth which includes New Zealand rookie Matthew Payne and returning driver Richie Stanaway.
Joining their stable of drivers this year as co-driver is five-time Bathurst winner Garth Tander, who will also provide mentoring support to Payne and Grove Racing’s Junior Team.
The team climbed from eighth to fifth in the teams' championship in 2022, taking to the podium eight times. In 2023, the Groves won races for the first time, David Reynolds scoring victory on the Gold Coast and Payne winning in Adelaide.
Under the leadership of Team Principal David Cauchi and Technical Director Grant McPherson, the team have established a crew that brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the track as they pursue further advancement in 2024.
