This year’s blockbuster Bathurst and Gold Coast events attracted over 200,000 fans.

The Gold Coast 500 will remain as a single driver event, and will include three action-packed days on and off track.

After Newcastle, Supercars will head to Albert Park, before racing at the historic Wanneroo Raceway in Perth.

A new multi-year deal has been struck between Supercars and the Western Australia Government for the future of the Perth SuperSprint.

The season will turn to Symmons Plains on May 19-21 before the annual trip to Darwin for Supercars’ Indigenous Round.

The NTI Townsville 500 retains its place in the winter school holidays from July 7-9.

The very first night racing of the Gen3 era will take place at Sydney Motorsport Park on July 28-30.

The new Gen3 cars will debut in 2023

The OTR SuperSprint will be the final sprint round of 2023 before Supercars shifts to enduro mode.

The Sandown, Bathurst, Gold Coast and Adelaide events are comprised of 2500km of racing.

Foxtel and Kayo will broadcast every practice, qualifying, Shootout and race of the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship live and ad free.

Sky Sport will bring every session to viewers in New Zealand across the Championship as they follow Shane van Gisbergen’s campaign to bring home at a third consecutive Driver’s title in 2023.

The Seven Network will broadcast six marquee events live: Newcastle, Darwin, Townsville, Bathurst, Gold Coast and Adelaide.

Seven and 7plus will broadcast highlights of all other events.

The Dunlop Series will also race in Newcastle, Perth, Townsville, Sandown, Bathurst and Adelaide.

The combined Super2 and Super3 grids will feature ZB Commodores racing against Car of the Future Ford Mustangs.

The 2023 Bathurst 1000 will be the 60th Great Race

Winton Motor Raceway and Queensland Raceway will be used as testing circuits for teams in 2023.

Both venues will host the first test outings of team-owned Gen3 cars in January, and fans are welcome to attend.

Formats for each 2023 round will be confirmed prior to the start of the 2023 season following approval from the Supercars Board.

"With the Camaro vs Mustang debut, the return of the Sandown 500 and our marquee event, the Repco Bathurst 1000, celebrating its 60th anniversary, 2023 is shaping as one of the most exciting in the history of our sport," Supercars CEO Shane Howard said.

"This year we have seen huge crowds return to our events and Adelaide is shaping as a spectacular finale for the Holden Commodore and Ford Mustang rivalry.

"We cannot wait to roll out our Gen3 Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro at Newcastle in March. What an amazing way to start the new chapter of racing for our sport.”

A New Zealand event is not on the 2023 calendar, but Howard reiterated there is a focus to return in 2024 and beyond.

Talks are ongoing of a New Zealand return

Howard also said discussions have been held with several circuit promoters regarding other future international events.

"We are still in progressive talks with our counterparts there for an event in the future, however as they continue it is in the best interest of all parties involved to focus on 2024 and beyond," Howard said.

"We have every intention to return to New Zealand and we are confident of an announcement in the new year regarding a partnership with a new venue."

The 2023 season will be the third for Repco as naming rights of both the championship and Bathurst 1000.

"The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship is one of the most anticipated in years, and the mix of venues is the perfect backdrop for the new Gen3 Supercars,” Repco CEO Wayne Bryant said.

"This championship is a truly world class with a fantastic mix of permanent circuits, street tracks and, of course, the Repco Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama.

"On track, there are going to be so many unknowns in 2023, but I do know that the crew at Repco across Australia and New Zealand are excited to be along for the ride and we can't wait to see a full field of Gen3 cars grid up in Newcastle."

Tickets for the opening event of 2023, the Newcastle 500, are now on sale through Supercars.com and Ticketek.
