Will Brown and Broc Feeney's championship fight is set to spill into the battle for the Larry Perkins Trophy at Albert Park.

Heading into Sunday's finale, Brown leads Feeney by three points with a maximum of 80 available.

Feeney, who won Thursday's race, benefited from a dramatic crash between Cam Waters and Matt Payne to win on Saturday. Brown won Friday's race, and has two second placings from the Thursday and Saturday races.

Chaz Mostert is still within striking distance, with the Walkinshaw Andretti United star 63 points down. Mostert finished fourth on Thursday, but his efforts were stung by damage in Friday's race, which consigned the 2019 Perkins Trophy winner to 17th.

The WAU star will start from pole on Sunday, with Feeney and Brown to line up sixth and ninth for the finale.

Nick Percat is in mathematical contention, with the Matt Stone Racing driver 74 points down. The #10 Bendix Chevrolet driver will start fourth in Sunday's race.

Jack Le Brocq, meanwhile, is 79 points down and would need a major miracle to bring home a second straight Perkins Trophy for Erebus Motorsport. Drivers take home 75 points for the win, and can score five bonus points for setting the fastest lap.

The MSS Security Melbourne SuperSprint action will conclude on Sunday with Race 6, which starts at 10:25am, and will run for 14 laps or one lap after 10:53am.
