  • Campsites for Repco Bathurst 1000 are on sale now

  • Over 7000 total campsites for October’s race, many already reserved via renewals

  • Strong 2024 renewal period indicates another quick sellout of remaining campsites

Supercars fans will be able to lock in their place at the Repco Bathurst 1000 today, as remaining campsites go on sale for October’s running of the Great Race.

Campsites will go on sale from 11:00am AEST and can be purchased via the Bathurst camping page on Supercars.com.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 is the crown jewel of the Repco Supercars Championship, and takes place October 10-13 at the famed Mount Panorama Circuit.

Over 7000 campsites will be filled at Australia’s premier motor race, taking place October 10-13 at the iconic Mount Panorama Circuit.

Following a strong renewals period that concluded in April, thousands of sites have already been snapped up by returning race fans.

In 2023, campsites sold out in just 90 minutes once public sales opened. Supercars expects a similarly rapid sellout once public sales open Tuesday morning.

“It’s never too early to get excited for Bathurst, and we are very excited to open our remaining campsites for sale for the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000,” Supercars CEO Shane Howard said.

“The campgrounds at Mount Panorama are a truly unique atmosphere and are a big part of what makes the Bathurst 1000 so special.

“We want to encourage fans to act fast to reserve a site. Last year our remaining campsites sold out in just 90 minutes, and with thousands of fans having already renewed their site for 2024, we expect our remaining campsites to sell out quickly yet again.”

Mayor of Bathurst Dr. Jess Jennings is also looking forward to welcoming Supercars fans and the motorsport world to Bathurst when the Great Race returns later this year.

“Camping at the Bathurst 1000 is a bucket list item for motorsport fans,” Mayor Jennings said.

“The event is the highlight of the Supercars racing year, and to have a spot on the mountain to take in the action is an iconic way to experience this event.

“The Bathurst 1000 brings visitors to our city and region from across Australia and internationally, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back to Bathurst and the Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit in October.”
