A blockbuster 28-car field will take to Bathurst for the Dunlop Series season-opener.
The first round of the Super2 and Super3 championships, now known as the Dunlop Series, will run on the Supercars support card at the Repco Mt Panorama 500.
Last year's Super2 finale on the mountain saw a 21-car field, with 11 Super2 and 10 Super3 entries take part.
In 2021, there will be seven more cars on the grid for the combined field, with 15 Super2 and 13 Super3 cars to take to the mountain.
The two race winners from the 2020 event, Will Brown and Thomas Randle, will be absent from the 2021 event.
Super2 champion Randle won't return to the grid, while Brown has earned promotion to the main game with Erebus Motorsport.
Triple Eight Race Engineering will run two cars for rising stars Broc Feeney and Angelo Mouzouris, with the former to race with the iconic #888.
Zak Best will steer a Tickford Racing entry, Matt Stone Racing returns to Super2 and Super3 action, while MW Motorsport will run four entries in 2021.
The new season bodes to be one of the best yet, and Tony Kiernan, Brand Manager Dunlop & Motorsport, was delighted to see a grid of such size and quality for the season-opener.
"We are very excited to see the grid size and driver quality for the Dunlop Series opener at Bathurst," Kiernan said.
"The combination of the Super2 and Super 3 teams, resulting in a 28-car grid, will ensure an awesome spectacle at the mountain for Round 1. Best of luck, and safe driving, to all the entrants."
Cars will hit the track on Friday for opening practice of the Repco Mt Panorama 500. Tickets are on sale now.
This weekend’s event will be broadcast live on Foxtel and the Seven Network, and will be streamed on Kayo. Check out the full TV schedule here.
