Dunlop Tyres, the official control tyre of the Repco Supercars Championship and the Dunlop Series, will be PINK for the fifth consecutive year, continuing its program to raise awareness of breast cancer and funds for research during this week’s Repco Bathurst 1000.

Over the last four years, Dunlop Tyres has donated over $40,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

NBCF is Australia's leading not for profit organisation funding world-class breast cancer research towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

On race day, all Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres used by Supercars will showcase PINK Dunlop branding on the sidewalls.

For every pitstop made during the 1000km race, Dunlop Tyres will donate $50 to the NBCF. With the high number of pitstops expected, the total donation could exceed $50,000.

Across the Mountain there will be a sea of Dunlop Pink.

From Pink track signage, Pink Dunlop Grid Flags, Pink caps for race teams plus the iconic Dunlop Caps presented on the Podium will have the added touch of a Pink Ribbon.

While the Dunlop Series will race on Dunlop’s yellow branded hard tyre, all the Dunlop Series cars will feature Pink Dunlop windscreen banners and side door decals.

The GR Cup featuring the latest Toyota GR86 series which also race on Dunlop Direzza Z3 control tyres are joining the pink parade with Pink Dunlop decals on their bumpers.

Dunlop Operations Manager Kevin Fitzsimons said: “With millions of race fans tuning in from across the globe, the Repco Bathurst 1000 provides an incredible platform to amplify Dunlop’s breast cancer fundraising initiative for NBCF so that they can continue funding and championing world-class research into breast cancer.

“We've got pink tires, pink branding, pink hats. Everything's going to be sensational for the weekend.”
