James Courtney will commence his second campaign with Tickford Racing with a fresh helmet design.
The 2010 series champion has predominantly raced in Supercars with a green, white and yellow design.
Created by Antman Helmet Design, Courtney's latest scheme is a far cry from the orange, silver and black helmet he ran at last year's Bathurst season finale.
The new helmet features sharper black lines, with his #44 Mustang entry's sponsor Boost Mobile featured on the front with a black background, along with branding on the visor.
EFS Solar branding features prominently on the sides of the helmet.
The 40-year-old is preparing for a second season with Tickford, having joined the team mid-season in 2020 after he departed Team Sydney after just one round.
He managed a podium in Darwin en route to 13th in the championship, and will return in a downscaled three-car effort alongside Cameron Waters and Jack Le Brocq.
Following a turbulent 2020, Courtney said his Tickford lifeline proved to be an "amazing outcome" as he looks to end the longest active winless drought in the category.
"The first couple of weekends [with Tickford] we just wanted to see how it was and how we gelled, because I didn't know anyone in the team," he said.
"Once we worked out it was a good fit and I was enjoying it, the cars were performing, it was a no-brainer to lock it away to get it done for the future.
"This year with all the drama that's gone on it's been an amazing outcome for me and I think the results and the speed have shown it was definitely the right thing to do.
"Next year will be a lot better with a proper lead-in to the season. I already know all the guys and will be able to hit the ground running."
Courtney will debut his new helmet at next month's Mt Panorama 500. Tickets are on sale now.
