Walkinshaw Andretti United driver and two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Chaz Mostert is set to use his star power to raise vital funds for cancer research and prevention.
Mostert will join Rugby League legend Darren Lockyer in headlining the inaugural Tour de Cure Summer Sports Lunch on February 11.
The event held on the Gold Coast will raise funds for the Tour de Cure – a charity that has raised over $75 million to support cancer research and prevention since 2007.
The 2021 Bathurst 1000 Champion and the Broncos star will feature as a part of the fundraising event.
Supercars Head of Motorsport Adrian Burgess will take part in the next Tour de Cure charity bike ride in March, along with Supercars Engine Projects Manager Craig Hasted.
Karting Australia Chief Operating Officer Lee Hanatschek and long-time Motorsport Personal Trainer Phil Young will also join the Signature Tour, along with Porsche Carrera Cup driver Bayley Hall.
The Signature Tour will see them ride 1400km across nine days from Geelong to Canberra while raising awareness and funds for cancer research and prevention.
"Cancer is something that affects far too many people in the community and through the Tour de Cure we’re all working together to raise funds for cancer research and prevention," said Burgess.
"We’ve put together the Summer Sports Lunch to help raise funds for the Tour de Cure and we’re delighted to have Darren and Chaz be able to be a part of such a great cause."

The Summer Sports Lunch will mark one month until Burgess and the Gold Coast quartet hit the road for their nine-day journey on two wheels.
"We’ve all been out on our bikes and while getting the training kilometres in but we’re under no illusions 1400km on a bike is going to be a massive challenge for us all.
"We’re not professional athletes, just a bunch of guys who know each other through motorsport who want to make a difference for cancer research.
"I was a part of the Tour de Cure Signature Tour in 2021, which was shorter due to covid restrictions, and it was only the support of the riders and crew around me and the thought of how cancer has affected me and my loved ones that got me to the finish."
In addition to interviews with Mostert and Lockyer, a charity auction with some great sporting memorabilia and experiences is up for grabs.
