An all-new documentary series centred on Erebus Motorsport will premiere on Wednesday.

The Melbourne squad is the focus of an eight-part documentary series.

The series encompasses the team’s 2020 and 2021 seasons, with the first episode to launch on Wednesday March 2 on Fox Sports.

The doco, titled Access All Areas: Erebus Motorsport, was filmed across a two-year period.

The series begins with cameras embedded within the team at the 2020 Adelaide 500.

It then charts the unprecedented 2020 season as the world was plunged into the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cameras were also there when the team underwent significant change prior to the 2021 season, with Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki replacing David Reynolds and Anton De Pasquale.

Rookie Brown won for Erebus last November

It culminates in Kostecki’s triumphant Great Race podium last December.

Access All Areas: Erebus Motorsport was produced by Andrew Janson, Lachlan Russell and Samit Singh.

The documentary is narrated by renowned Australian actor Gary Sweet.

The first two episodes will air on Fox Sports 506 on March 2 at 8:00 AEDT, and are later released on demand via Kayo.

The release coincides with the opening round of the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park

Two new episodes will then be broadcast each Wednesday, with the final episodes airing on March 23.

The Seven Network will air two episodes a week starting Friday March 4 via 7plus.

"Erebus Motorsport are already known for being the most interesting, open and unfiltered team in pit lane,” executive producer Janson said.

"They allowed us complete access throughout what turned out to be a two-year filming process.

"Nothing was censored, nothing filtered… it’s as open and honest a look at what it takes to go racing at such a high level, let alone without having to deal with things like a global pandemic.

"This series showcases the passion from the owners right down through the drivers and to the people working on the cars.

"We’ve aimed to create a new take on a behind-the-scenes documentary of this type and the team and everyone involved are very proud of the finished product.”

Erebus team owner Betty Klimenko was excited to take viewers even deeper, with the team profiled in an Inside Line docuseries two years ago.

"People may say, ‘you’ve done this’, though this time you’ll see something more, that no one has ever seen before,” Klimenko said.

"We go deeper, and really show our audience why we are the way we are, what makes us tick and who we are away from the track.

"We wanted to show people behind-the-scenes and into the personal lives of the people who make up Erebus."
