Greg Murphy will return to the seat of a Kmart-backed Holden Commodore Supercar at next year's Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
The four-time Bathurst winner will drive the car at next year's event, with the VT Commodore owned by Ben Stack.
Murphy shared the car with Steven Richards at the Queensland 500 and Bathurst 1000 in 2000, finishing in third place at both events.
The car was the last Gibson Motorsport-built Commodore V8 Supercar, with the Gibson squad winning the 1991, 1992 and 1999 races at Mount Panorama.
After dual wins for Jim Richards and Mark Skaife in the iconic Nissan Skyline GT-R R32s that dominated the Group A era, Gibson switched to Holden in 1993, with Murphy and Richards junior winning the 1999 race.
Murphy returns to Adelaide, having been named the 'Fanbassador' for the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500.
The Supercars legend will complement his track time with appearances on stage in the Adelaide Marriott Grand Marquee over the course of the event.
Murphy will be joined at the Adelaide event with 1996 Bathurst-winning co-driver Craig Lowndes, who will get behind the wheel of the Shadow MKIII Can-Am car and the 1988 Arrows A10B Megatron Formula One car.
The 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will be held on March 8-9, the week before the Grand Prix in Melbourne.
