The Bathurst Channel will return to Fox Sports and Kayo in 2024, paving the way to a thrilling Great Race weekend at Mount Panorama.

Fox Sports channel 506 will transform into the Bathurst Channel from Monday October 7, and will run through the Sunday October 13 following the 161-lap race.

Fox Sports and Kayo will broadcast over 40 hours of live programming in race week, including the all-new Bathurst Street Party event on Wednesday October 9, with live coverage to commence at 5:30pm AEST.

Featured on the channel is the Bathurst Preview Show, with expert commentators Jess Yates and Mark Skaife joined by Garth Tander, Richie Stanaway, James Courtney and Jack Perkins on the panel.

A number of other specials also feature, including 20 Greatest Bathurst Laps, Chaz Mostert re-living his 2021 triumph in Fox Theatre: Bathurst 2021, and a host of mini races.

Holden legends are celebrated in End of the Lion, while Fox Theatre: Bathurst 2022 sees Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander re-live the dramatic 2022 Great Race.

The special Beyond the Chase tells the story of the remarkable 2014 race, with Mostert passing a fuel-poor Jamie Whincup on the final lap.

Fast Finishes looks back at some of the closest Bathurst cliffhangers, Top 10 Bathurst Races and 20 Greatest Bathurst Laps go down memory lane, while the likes of Whincup, Craig Lowndes and Peter Brock are also celebrated in specials.

Live on-track coverage on Fox Sports and Kayo commences on Thursday October 10, with all sessions to be broadcast live. The Seven Network will take the free-to-air coverage of the event, starting from Friday October 11.
