  • James Moffat returns with Cam Waters

  • Thomas Randle joined by Tyler Everingham

The 2024 enduro grid is complete, with Tickford Racing formally announcing that James Moffat and Tyler Everingham will race for the team at Sandown and Bathurst.

It had long been expected that Moffat and Everingham would feature for Tickford at Sandown and Bathurst after both turned laps at the pre-season test day.

Moffat will rekindle a successful partnership with Cam Waters, while Everingham will start a new partnership with Thomas Randle.

Confirmation of Tickford’s enduro line-up locks in all 26 enduro pairings for 2024, with the 24 full-time entries joined by wildcards from Triple Eight and Matt Chahda Motorsport.

Waters and Moffat have had considerable success in their three seasons together, claiming two Bathurst podiums in 2021 (second) and 2022 (third).

Moffat has also been a consistent frontrunner in the Trans Am Series, winning the series last year and currently sits second behind Erebus co-driver Todd Hazelwood in the current season.

Moffat said: “It’s always an exciting time of the year, and I’m really happy to be back with Tickford Racing. Looking forward to teaming up with Cam and the crew.”

Waters added: “I’m excited to team up with Moff again. He always fits right in with the team, and we’ve got good momentum going, so I’m keen to see what we can achieve at Sandown and Bathurst.”

Everingham finished fourth in the 2022 Super2 Series, and is in his second season at Tickford having partnered with Declan Fraser last year.

The Dubbo product also has valuable Bathurst miles under his belt this year, racing at this year’s Bathurst 6 Hour in a BMW M3.

Everingham said: “I’m excited to be back with Tickford for the enduros, and I can’t wait to team up with Thomas and work with Chris [Stuckey, engineer] again.”

Randle added: “I’m looking forward to teaming up with Tyler. He’s got great experience, is easy-going, and I think we’ll make a great pairing heading into Sandown and Bathurst.”

Tickford enters the enduros off the back of a stellar weekend in Tasmania, with Waters winning on Sunday after Randle qualified on pole.

Waters remains a contender for the championship in fourth place, 350 points behind leader Will Brown, whilst Randle is a career best eighth in the standings.

The Repco Supercars Championship shifts into enduro mode at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 from September 13-15. Tickets for the 60th anniversary event are on sale now through the Supercars.com website here.
