DJR formally announced Tony D'Alberto for 2025 enduros
D'Alberto has been a co-driver with Ford team since 2016
D'Alberto finished third in 2017, 2023 Bathurst 1000s
Tony D'Alberto will return for a 10th season co-driving for Dick Johnson Racing, with the veteran partnered with two-time Bathurst winner Will Davison.
The 2007 Super2 champion, who raced with Anton De Pasquale between 2021 and 2024, will shift to Davison's car for the 2025 enduros at The Bend and Bathurst.
Davison was set to welcome a new co-driver, with Kai Allen signing with Penrite Racing.
DJR has opted to retain D'Alberto, who finished third at the 2017 and 2023 Bathurst 1000s with Fabian Coulthard and De Pasquale respectively.
Next year's Bathurst 1000 will mark D'Alberto's 21st consecutive Great Race start, following his debut in 2006.
"Tony D'Alberto will be joining forces with Will Davison as his co-driver in 2025! Next year is extra special for Tony as it marks 10 incredible years with the Shell V-Power Racing Team," the team said.
"A full decade of unwavering dedication, hard work, and some truly outstanding performances on and off the track.
"We couldn’t be more thrilled to have you back, TD."
D'Alberto, who turned 39 last week, first joined DJR in 2016 alongside Scott Pye, finishing fifth at Mount Panorama.
He race with Coulthard between 2017 and 2020, finishing third, ninth, 21st and fourth in Bathurst, along with top 10 finishes at Sandown and Gold Coast.
The D'Alberto news comes after DJR secured Todd Hazelwood, with the Bathurst winner signing with the Ford team to reunite with Brodie Kostecki.
DJR is now the first team to formally announce both enduro line-ups, with Scott Pye (Triple Eight Race Engineering), Mark Winterbottom (Tickford Racing), Garth Tander (Grove Racing) and David Russell (PremiAir Racing) also locked in.
