DJR tops 2023 Indigenous livery fan poll

In a poll last week, we asked Supercars.com readers what their favourite 2023 Indigenous Round livery was.
The results are in, and for the second straight year, it was a big win for the Shell V-Power Racing Team.
The poll opened on the Thursday before the betr Darwin Triple Crown, and closed after Sunday’s Race 15.
Over 33,000 votes were cast, with 48 per cent of voters choosing the Shell V-Power livery.
The Shell V-Power Indigenous livery carried artwork from Zoe Raymond in conjunction with Supply Aus Holdings.
Second: CoolDrive Racing
Raymond's work was inspired by this year’s NAIDOC Week theme, 'For Our Elders’.
Perth-born, Queensland-raised Raymond is a Yindjibarndi/Pinikura woman, who lives and works on Turrbal/Jagera country in Brisbane.
She is a contemporary Aboriginal artist, with her work encompassing the legacy and history of DJR.
Blanchard Racing Team’s CoolDrive Ford Mustang, which carried artwork by Djerait artist Melissa Yaram Tipo, polled second.
Her work, the 'Three Generations’, represent the three generations of Blanchard, who have passed knowledge down with each successive generation.
Third: Red Bull Ampol Racing
The Red Bull Ampol livery, which was raced to victory in Race 14 by Broc Feeney, was third.
The Red Bull Ampol design was designed by Warumungu man Brock Compton, a student of Brisbane’s Ambrose Treacy College.
Compton, 17, is a member of the school’s Clontarf Academy.
Red Bull Ampol Racing will also auction both race suits from the event, with all proceeds being donated to Clontarf. View the auction HERE.
