Erebus Motorsport team boss Betty Klimenko connects with the fans and always has a long queue for autographs at a Supercars race weekend.
The pit lane queen sat down with V8supercars.com ahead of her Inside Supercars appearance to answer our quick questions revealing her taste in music and someone she was desperate to meet.
V8SC: Last concert or sporting event you attended?
BK: Last concert was Buckcherry. The last sporting event would’ve been a football event.
Do you have a signature dish in the kitchen?
I bake cakes – cake is my signature dish, Devil’s Food cake.
What’s on your bucket list outside of motorsport?
I ticked one of my bucket list [items] and that was to meet Paul Murray.
I think I have one thing on my bucket list, and that is to make it to 80.
If you could choose your ultimate driver pairing to race the enduros, who would it be?
I actually have it for Bathurst, but we haven’t announced our enduro drivers.
If we wanted to go out of there, anyone in the world from any series, it would be a GT round and it would be Maro Engel and Jack Le Brocq.
Last week’s question from Brad Jones – he wondered if you missed the uniqueness of running the Mercedes to make your cars stand out?
I do, a lot. I miss the uniqueness of them and the fact that was where I started, that was my baby. They’re not gone, they’re just having a holiday.
Do you have a question for next week’s guest Tim Slade?
Is he enjoying where he is and what he does?
Catch Klimenko on Inside Supercars tonight on FOX SPORTS 506 at 7.30pm AEST.
