Chaz Mostert will start last for Race 25 after he was excluded from qualifying.
Mostert had qualified second for the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight finale alongside Shane van Gisbergen.
However, it was later revealed that the #25 Mobil 1 Appliances Online Commodore's front bar was too wide.
The technical breach ensures Mostert will start the 32-lap race, which will begin under lights, from 26th and last.
It promotes Race 24 winner Anton De Pasquale to the front row, with Nick Percat and Andre Heimgartner to fill the second row.
The #25 was found to have been wider than regulations permit.
WAU attempted to argue that the front bar has sustained damage during the session.
It came after the car was already under investigation for an alleged parc ferme breach during both qualifying sessions.
"After sustaining damage to the front bodywork at turn 10 during Race 25 qualifying, Car 25 was ruled to have exceeded the permitted front bodywork width post session, a breach of Rule C2.1," a team statement reads.
"While extremely disappointed with the penalty, our focus for Car No. 25 is to now gain the best possible result from the rear of grid."
The 32-lap ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight finale will commence at 7:30pm AEDT.
