Penrite Racing has revealed its car numbers for 2023, which will be campaigned by David Reynolds and Matt Payne.
2017 Bathurst winner Reynolds will be joined by rookie Payne for the first Gen3 season.
Penrite Racing will campaign two Ford Mustangs — Reynolds’ #26, and the #19 for Payne.
The two numbers pay homage to title sponsor Penrite’s year establishment in 1926.
The #19 replaces the #10, which has been campaigned by Lee Holdsworth this year.
The #19 was most recently used by Team Sydney, which was previously known as Tekno Autosports.
The team revealed the 2023 numbers on the underside of both Mustang bonnets.
Holdsworth will complete his final full-time round this weekend in Adelaide.
Payne — who is fighting for the Super2 title — will then step up to the big time.
"With our 2023 driver line-up, the change to #19 and #26 signifies a new era for both us and Penrite," Grove Racing team owner Stephen Grove said.
"Welcoming Matt Payne alongside long-time Penrite ambassador, David Reynolds.
"It’s great that we’ve had the opportunity to run numbers that mean so much to Penrite and showcase such a long and established business.
"Partners like Penrite, an Australian, family-owned brand showcase the true Australian spirit of business and we’re excited to promote their product."
Brand Manager of Penrite Oil Company, Jarrod Harding, was proud to have the team honour Penrite's history.
"It has always been a goal since entering Supercars full-time that we could get our hands on the perfect book-end numbers of 19 and 26," Harding said.
"And from the Adelaide 500 onwards we finally have them.
"At Penrite we have always celebrated our Australian history, which is why our cars have always flown the Australian flag.
"We are equally as proud of our family-owned company’s history and the year 1926 is very important to us.
"It’s great that in 2023 we can finally unveil the #19 and #26 with Penrite Racing with David Reynolds and Matt Payne campaigning us into Gen3."
Cars will return to the Adelaide Parklands Circuit for Practice 2 on Friday at 1:15pm local time.
Friday’s schedule will also feature ARMOR ALL Qualifying for Race 33 at 5:35pm.
