  • Iconic Peter Brock Trophy embarks on roadshow for first time

  • Tour will officially known as The Repco Bathurst 1000 Trophy Tour

  • Trophy heads to destinations including Canberra, Sydney, and Orange

For the first time ever, the iconic Peter Brock Trophy, awarded to the victors of the prestigious Repco Bathurst 1000, will embark on an exhilarating roadshow journey from Sandown to Mount Panorama.

The tour will officially be known as The Repco Bathurst 1000 Trophy Tour.

As part of the tour, the trophy has already captivated fans in Tasmania, the US and Darwin already in 2023.

Now it can be revealed that in September it will head to various destinations including Albury, Wagga Wagga, Canberra, Wollongong, Sydney, and Orange.

The roadshow will culminate in the trophy's arrival at Mount Panorama during race week, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Repco Bathurst 1000 in October.

Brock Trophy reunited with old friend in McLaughlin

The purpose of the Repco Bathurst 1000 Trophy Tour is to bring the coveted Peter Brock Trophy, the most sought after piece of silverware in Australian Motorsport, closer to passionate fans residing in regions situated between the two revered enduro events.

The Peter Brock Trophy roadshow is part of an enthralling digital series by Repco for 2023. The series will feature exclusive interviews with previous winners and motorsport legends who have triumphed at Mount Panorama, along with visits to the hometowns of current drivers as they pursue their dreams of one day lifting the illustrious trophy.

One of the episodes will feature the trophy’s trip to Indianapolis and Detroit in the USA - the furthest the trophy has ever toured. There it linked with 2019 winner and now IndyCar star Scott McLaughlin.

Supercars CEO Shane Howard, said: "This is an incredible opportunity for fans to experience the magic of the Peter Brock Trophy up close and personal.

“By taking the trophy on a roadshow from Sandown to Bathurst, we're ensuring that fans across Australia can be part of the excitement as we count down to the monumental 60th anniversary of the Repco Bathurst 1000.

“The roadshow provides an exceptional opportunity for fans to connect with the Peter Brock Trophy, showcasing the passion and dedication that drives motorsport.

“We can’t wait for October to come around and to get back to the mountain with all of the fans."

The tour will visit popular destinations, Repco stores, and feature some of Repco’s key assets seen at Supercars major events. Full details and special offers linked to the tour will be available on the Repco Garage for fans. Further details about each tour stop will be unveiled in the lead-up to the enduro rounds.
