Former teammates Brodie Kostecki and Will Brown will launch from the front row for Sunday's Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 finale, which could be a crucial day in the 2024 title fight.

Kostecki, who won the Repco Bathurst 1000 from pole position, claimed his second Surfers Paradise pole, with Brown in the box seat to extend his championship lead.

Title rivals Chaz Mostert, Broc Feeney and Cam Waters will start fourth, fifth and seventh, with Jack Le Brocq impressing to third. Richie Stanaway, meanwhile, was set to start from eighth before being penalised for impeding Anton De Pasquale.
