Ballarat the latest stop on Queensland team's regional tour
  • Matt Stone Racing to feature at Bendix Open Day on Wednesday, September 11

  • Event to be held at the Bendix Manufacturing Plant in Delacombe, Ballarat

  • 2011 Bathurst 1000 winner Nick Percat to appear

Matt Stone Racing has announced the latest location that will play host to their regional tour this year.

After visiting Canberra in the ACT and Bunbury in WA earlier this year, MSR will be visiting the Victorian city of Ballarat in the lead up to the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 from September 13-15.

The latest activation will be run in partnership with MSR naming rights partner Bendix, with the event to be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, September 11.

Bendix will be holding an Open Day at their Manufacturing Plant (8 Elizabeth St, Delacombe), with MSR set to bring their transporter and the #10 Camaro driven by Nick Percat.

Percat, a race winner last time out in Tasmania, will be joined by enduro co-driver and Carrera Cup frontrunner Dylan O'Keeffe, and team owner Matt Stone.

Percat and MSR have both enjoyed a remarkable season this year, with the 2011 Bathurst winner sitting sixth in the standings heading into Sandown, having won twice this season.

The event is free for all fans, and will have a Kids Zone, BBQ, raffles and prizes, plus a Q & A with Percat, O'Keeffe, and Stone.

Bendix will also be running tours of the facility for those who want a behind the scenes look at the brake manufacturing facility.

Tickets for the free Bendix Open Day are available here.

The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship shifts into enduro mode at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 from September 13-15. Tickets for the 60th anniversary event are available now.
