Supercars is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Campbell Little, a highly respected and influential figure in our sport.

Campbell's dedication, technical expertise, and passion for motorsport made an indelible impact on the Supercars community.

Campbell's career spanned several decades, during which he became one of the most accomplished race engineers in the sport.

His remarkable achievements as a race engineer cannot be overstated.

Little won five Bathurst 1000s and two drivers' championships, working with teams including Stone Brothers Racing, Triple Eight, Ford Performance Racing and Dick Johnson Racing.

It included engineering Marcos Ambrose’s dominance and being part of establishing Triple Eight and the subsequent successes of Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup.

In 2019, Campbell joined Supercars, and played a pivotal role as Supercars' Motorsport Technical Manager.

Earlier this year, Campbell transitioned into the role of television commentators' data engineer, where he provided critical strategy information to enhance the broadcast for fans, continuing to shape the sport he loved.

"Campbell's technical brilliance and unwavering commitment to excellence elevated the performance of every team he worked with,” Supercars CEO Shane Howard said.

“As a mentor, colleague, and friend, Campbell was admired by all who knew and worked with him.

“His recent contributions to our broadcast team exemplify his enduring passion for the sport, even as he faced his battle with pancreatic cancer.

“His guidance to Supercars’ staff ensures that his knowledge and expertise would continue to influence the sport for years to come.

“We will honour Campbell and the contributions he made to our sport, the teams and our staff at the upcoming Sandown 500.

“Campbell will be greatly missed by all who knew him and by the entire Supercars community.

“Our thoughts are with Campbell's wife Clare, the whole Little family and friends during this difficult time.”
