Up to nine new driver/engineer combinations on track in Sydney
Erebus Motorsport CEO Barry Ryan has returned to a Race Engineer role, overseeing Jack Le Brocq in Sydney.
Ryan, who has led Erebus to Bathurst and championship success, has extensive Race Engineer experience in Supercars.
Notably, Ryan served as an engineer at Perkins Engineering in the early 2000s, and briefly engineered David Reynolds in 2020. Ryan also engineered Le Brocq to the 2012 Australian Formula Ford title.
Ryan is currently engineering Le Brocq’s #9 Tyrepower Chevrolet Camaro during the Destination NSW Sydney Test Day on Wednesday.
Erebus has undergone a double change for 2025, with George Commins and Tom Moore moving to Dick Johnson Racing.
Former Erebus Academy Super2 engineer Wayne Mackie has been elected to work with rookie driver Cooper Murray on the #99 entry.
The Le Brocq/Ryan and Murray/Mackie combinations are among a number of new partnerships for the new season hitting the ground running in Sydney.
Second-year Walkinshaw Andretti United driver Ryan Wood is working with former DJR man Richard Harris, with Will Davison working with Moore.
Matt Stone Racing has recruited ex-DJR engineer Caleb Mutsaerts to work with Cameron Hill, while PremiAir Racing recruit Richie Stanaway is working with Andrew Gilliam and Ludo Lacroix.
Ex-Brad Jones Racing engineer Andrew Donnelly has moved to Team 18 to work with Anton De Pasquale, with Donnelly replaced alongside Macauley Jones by Paul Scalzo.
Second-year Blanchard Racing Team driver Aaron Love, meanwhile, will be engineered by ex-Kelly Racing engineer Daniel Veronese.
