Tickets on sale for 2022 NTI Townsville 500

Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 NTI Townsville 500, North Queensland’s largest annual sporting event.

Reid Park, set below the iconic Castle Hill backdrop, will host three action-packed days of racing from 8-10 July.

Reigning series champion Shane van Gisbergen has won eight previous races in North Queensland.

Cam Waters, who famously stamped his mark after his win in 2021, will try to go back-to-back on the famous street circuit.

This year’s event will feature a jam-packed support card with four additional categories taking to the circuit in 2022.

The combined Dunlop Super2 and Super3 Series, Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia 86 Series, Porsche Carrera Cup and fan-favourite muscle cars from yesterday in the Touring Car Masters Series will tackle the circuit.

Off track, fans will have the opportunity to meet with their favourite drivers at autograph sessions throughout the event.

Further off-track entertainment will be announced in coming weeks.

Since its debut in 2009, the Townsville event has been one of the most popular for fans and drivers alike.

Anyone who purchases Grandstand tickets before April 30 will receive a free NTI Townsville 500 event lanyard.

Kids 12 & under can access Trackside free with a paying adult.
